Let’s Get This Week Started!

We are so excited for another week here at Ox Lake and couldn’t wait another minute to get started! Our day began with cabin introductions and camp traditions as we got to know our cabins and everything Ox has to offer.

Our theme this summer is Wonder, and each day we’ll take a deeper look at different aspects of wonder through a daily question. Today, we explored the Wonder of Curiosity and asked the question, “What if?” During Bible study, we opened our Bibles to Exodus and read about Moses and the burning bush.

It was then time for dinner, so we all gathered for grace and enjoyed some yummy chicken Alfredo and breadsticks. Once dinner was finished, we transitioned into a time called Speed Friending, one of the ways we get to meet so many new friends. After that, we headed into community time, followed by canteen.

Soon after, we gathered together for worship as we made our way to campfire. We sang so many fun songs and spent time worshiping together. After campfire, we headed to our devotionals. Today’s devo activity was candle making, and everyone got to decorate their own jar.

Now it’s time for bed, and we can’t wait to see what else God has in store for us!
