Group Programs

Whether you are looking to bring your family to camp, book a retreat, or build a custom experience, Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp, Inc. has the right option for you! Note: For Summer programs, grade refers to the grade completed before camp start date. For Fall, Winter, and Spring programs, grade refers to the current grade.

Group Canoe Trips (Grades 6-12)

Organized groups of up to 9 people total will spend a week experiencing a transformative canoe journey through the Boundary Waters with an experienced guide and a complete set of all necessary supplies.

Group Hybrid Trip (Grades 6-12)

For budding adventurers, we’ve combined a shorter canoe trip with either an Island Camp or a Work-Service Camp experience, so campers can experience everything Wilderness Canoe Base has to offer!

Group Work-Service Camp (Grades 6-12)

Groups will join in work projects around camp, helping Wilderness Canoe Base continue to invest and protect the unique Boundary Waters experience for future generations. Of course, there will be lots of time for fun as well!

Wilderness Summer Family Camp (All Ages)

Whether it’s your immediate family, extended family, church family, or a “family” of friends and loved ones, we offer customized summer experiences for families of all types.

Wilderness Fall Family Getaways (All Ages)

Whether it’s your immediate family, extended family, church family, or a “family” of friends and loved ones, we offer customized fall experiences for families of all types.

Group Island Camp (Grades 6-12)

Island Camp provides groups with an opportunity to explore the BWCAW during the day while using Wilderness Canoe Base as your home base each night.

Business Meetings & Retreats (Ages 18+)

Bring your work team together for a change of scenery. We’ll provide comfortable accommodations and meeting space in a beautiful setting and meals for your group.

Encounter Youth Retreat (Grades 6-9)

This event is designed for Youth Workers to bring a group from their church out to camp. Camp staff will take care of programming focused on community building and faith development in big and small group settings.

Camp Wapo Adult Retreat

Spring is of the most beautiful times to be at camp. We’ve got a wonderful program scheduled for our time together and we can’t wait to welcome you.
