Welcome to Camp!

We are so excited to start a brand-new week at camp!

To kick off the week, we spent time getting to know everyone in our cabins. Shortly after, we gathered together for dinner, where we enjoyed some delicious Circle Pizza and carrots.

Our theme this summer is Wonder, and each day we’ll take a deeper look at different aspects of wonder through a daily question. Today, we explored the Wonder of Curiosity and asked the question, “What if?” During Bible study, we opened our Bibles to Exodus and read about Moses and the burning bush.

After Bible study, we took a tour of camp to learn about some of the traditions that make Camp Wapo so special. Next on the schedule was campfire prep and canteen, where we had our first chance to enjoy some candy!

Following canteen, we headed down to campfire for our first worship service together. We had the opportunity to sing, dance, and praise God as one camp family. Once campfire ended, we returned to our cabins for devotions. Each night, we’ll end our day by reflecting together before heading to bed.

With devotions wrapped up, it’s time for bed! We can’t wait for our first full day tomorrow.
