Legacy Gift Planning

Your financial support has an incredible impact on the thousands of kids who come to camp each summer and for the thousands of retreaters who find rest and renewal at all of our sites. We are thankful for your investment and commitment to this ministry. As we look to the future we are excited about all that is ahead as God continues to lead us in new ways in our work to share the Gospel. Thank you for ensuring the growth and sustainability for the ministry at Camp Wapo, Ox Lake and Wilderness Canoe Base with a planned gift.

As you work on your estate plan with a lawyer or financial advisor you will need the following EIN number 39-0973783 for our organization. As you make your gift, please carefully identify which of our camps you wish to support. You may choose to designate your gift to Camp Wapo, Wilderness Canoe Base, Ox Lake, or wherever the need is greatest.  Thank you for making our camping ministries a part of your legacy giving plan.

A gift to camp is a wonderful way to remember and honor a loved one. What better than a gift that enables young people to grow closer to the Lord Jesus! Such a gift lives on in the lives of those it blesses.

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70 1/2 years old or older to donate up to $100,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions. Click here to learn more about how to give using your QCD.

Stocks can be given to a charitable organization as a gift whereby the recipient benefits from any gains in the stocks price. Giving the gift of stock can also provide benefits for the donor, particularly if the stock has appreciated in value since the the donor can avoid paying taxes on those earnings to gains.  Click here to learn more about giving a gift of stock or securities.

The most common planned gift is a bequest through your will or trust. Bequests can include a specific amount or piece of property, a percent of your estate, the residual of your estate or a contingency (if the donor outlives the heir).
