A little rain is always fun!
After our well deserved quite time we still had rain coming down so we had some fun with free time. We still had the typical canteen time and art shop but we also gave campers the opportunity to relax and watch a World Cup match, campers loved cheering on England! We also had our craft of the day today… tie-dye, it was so much fun, along with the craft we also had a 9-square tournament, which went into overtime.
Rainy days can still be fun at camp and for the first time in a while we had all of our meals inside. tonight for dinner we enjoyed a delicious build-your-own pasta bar, which was so good. We then gathered with our cabins for some cabin time before heading off to a new location for the EPIC Awards! tonight we recognized 4 different awards which were, the cleanest cabin, the inclusion award, the tournament winner and the sportsmanship award!
Luckily the rain stopped for our evening activities so we got to be outside!!! we played a super fun game that we adapted to be safe with wet grass. Our game was called Conquer the Castle, campers went around looking for kings and queens in different zones with not getting caught by other teams. We all had a blast and we just needed to continue our time outside with canteen time.
The rain did come back which meant that our campfire had to be inside but that didn’t stop us. We still had a blast praising the Lord and worshiping as a camp. Once we wrapped up campfire our sprout cabins headed off to bed and devos while our older cabins played a super fun night game.
Now we are all off to devos and bed before our final full day here at camp1
Goodnight!
