We kicked off our Friday evening by welcoming Seeds campers in the heat! We started the weekend out by doing Bible study and getting to know our cabinmates, some cabins did it inside and some outside depending on what the campers were more comfortable with due to the temperature. Then we got to eat a fun dinner consisting of dino nuggets, smiley fries, broccoli, and push pops. We made sure to stay super hydrated with some Gatorade and lemonade with our water. Once dinner was over we learned our camp traditions with stations then watched our counselors perform funny skits that made us laugh! We then got to play Ships Across the Ocean where we got to be sharks, seaweed, and fishes. Once the game was over we went to Campfire and sang, danced, and prayed to God to end the night together. Though when Campfire was over we got a fun dessert of S’mores before going with our cabins to do a devotion, which is our way of saying goodnight to God. We are ready for a good nights rest for our exciting day tomorrow.
