P.R.A.I.S.E. Camp
At P.R.A.I.S.E. Camp, campers will explore a variety of ways to praise God through creativity, reflection, and action. Each day we’ll build on these five themes – discovering how worship can happen anywhere, anytime, and in all we do.
Prayer and Purpose
We all wonder: Who am I? What was I made for? How will God use me? Campers will have space to ask these questions and to discover how prayer helps us listen for God’s voice and live with purpose. Prayer becomes more than words – it becomes a way of being in relationship with God.
Arts and Instruments
God is wildly creative, and we are made in that same image! Campers will explore how to praise God through painting, acting, singing, dancing, songwriting, and more. Every creative expression – whether loud or quiet, bold or subtle – is a beautiful form of worship.
Rest
In a world that rarely slows down, rest is holy work. Campers will learn to care for their minds, bodies, and spirits through rest, movement, and prayer. Together we’ll explore practices like yoga, mindfulness, and meditation to experience peace and renewal in God’s presence.
Service
One of the most powerful ways to praise God is by serving others. Campers will grow in their understanding of what it means to love their neighbors through acts of service, kindness, and compassion – living out their faith in tangible, meaningful ways.
Environment
God’s creation is a gift, and we are called to care for it. Campers will experience hands-on ways to protect, celebrate, and learn from the natural world – discovering that caring for the earth is an act of praise and gratitude to the Creator.
At P.R.A.I.S.E. Camp, campers will experience all the fun and faith-filled traditions of a week at Wapo – Bible study, games, worship, campfires, and time outdoors – while learning that every prayer, brushstroke, song, act of service, and breath can be a way to praise God.
