No place we would rather be!

We started our afternoon right away with free time where we had a few sprinkles of rain fell on us at the beginning, but that didn’t stop us from doing all the things! Tie dye was the craft of the day and we got a little competitive during the basketball tournament. We had a blast at all the other areas where we got to be with each other outside.

The fun didn’t stop there! As soon as free time wrapped up, we headed back to our cabins and got ready for the banquet. This year, we traveled all the way to the Rainforest Café for a dinner of chicken Kiev and rice, followed by an ice cream sandwich for dessert.

We thought we might have to be inside for our evening activities, but the rain missed us completely! That meant we could be outside for the whole evening—starting with finding out who the mole was.

All week long, a sneaky mole had been causing playful mischief around camp, and the big mystery was solved and the mole was revealed! Then, we jumped right into the Wapo County Fair. Campers could get their nails and faces painted, add hair tinsel and braids. Plus they could visit the hydration station, or have some fun at the shaving cream station. The canteen was also open for one final chance to spend any leftover money.

Next came the most anticipated event of the evening… the All-Star Game! The winners of our basketball tournament faced off against the Wapo staff All-Star team in an epic showdown.

To end the night, we gathered together at campfire for worship, which transitioned into a special time called prayer stations. This gave everyone space to reflect, connect with God, and connect with each other before heading off in our own ways.

It was the perfect way to close out the night before returning to our cabins for devos and soaking in one last night at camp before heading home tomorrow.

Goodnight!
