What a day here at camp!

We started our afternoon with our campers having the choice to take the swim test. We have so many campers here this week so that we have to split them up for some activities like meal times and the swim test. Our youngest campers, Sprouts had quite time first while the rest of camp was down at the beach taking the swim test and once they finished they switched places. After the swim test we went straight into free time where our campers have the opportunity to choose what they want to do. Some of the highlights from free time today was the craft of the day which was bracelet making as well as canteen and much more.

After free time it was time for some very nutritious dinner of orange chicken and rice and also cabin challenge. Next was our all camp game of capture the flag. Once all our flags were found it was time for game-a-palooza. This is a time that is a more structured free time for our campers since the swim test took up a chunk of free time. Don’t worry the canteen was also open during this time so we were able to get our sugar before campfire.

We all gathered together again for campfire before heading back up to night meds and devos to end our night.

It was such a great day and we can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
