Welcome to Camp Wapo!

We welcomed so many campers to our site today, and we can’t wait to experience God’s love in action throughout the week. Our adventure began in our cabins as we met new friends and settled into camp. After that, we gathered for our first meal together. Sunday night called for some yummy circle pizzas for dinner! Once we finished dinner, we headed back to our cabins for our first Bible study.

Our theme for this summer is Wonder, and each day we’ll explore a different way to experience wonder. Today, we dove into the Wonder of Curiosity. We started by asking the question, “What if?” and read about Moses and the Burning Bush.

After Bible study, we made our way to different locations around camp for a tour and to learn some of our camp traditions. Shortly after our traditions tour, we got ready for campfire and made a stop at the canteen.

Each night, we’ll gather together for campfire, where we worship through song and prayer. After campfire, we headed back to our cabins for devotions, a special way to end our day with God.

With devotions finished, we’re now off to bed and can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store for us.
