Big Adventures. One Epic Day. A Whole New Way to Explore Camp.

Is your child curious about camp but not quite ready for a full overnight? Explorers Camp is the perfect next step. This is an expanded version of the Wapo One-Day experience, designed for even more adventure, connection, and camp magic.

Campers will spend the day enjoying classic Camp Wapo activities like swimming, games, crafts, chapel, and Bible study – all in a welcoming, joy-filled environment where kids can make new friends and experience the heart of camp. Throughout the day, campers will break into age-based groups for some activities, allowing each child to engage at a level that fits them best.

Parents may drop off their campers for the day… or they can sign up for a separate, camp program created just for them. Explorers Camp can be a meaningful opportunity for the whole family!

Explorers Camp allows campers to experience the full rhythm of a camp day, including an unforgettable evening campfire filled with songs, stories, and community.

Want even more camp time? Families are invited to turn this into a full weekend and stay overnight on Saturday. On Sunday morning you can join our lakeside boat-in worship, followed by brunch. A meaningful and memorable way to wrap up your Explorers Camp experience together.

Explorers Camp is more than a day at camp – it’s a chance to explore, connect, and begin a lifelong love of Camp Wapo.
