Ox Is “Pudding” Smiles on Our Faces

It was a great night out at Ox Lake! Our theme at camp for the summer is ALWAYS! We started diving into this with our first bible study “Rejoice Always.” We read Philippians 4:4-6 and talked about how we can rejoice in God’s goodness everyday.

After bible study, we gathered for a delicious dinner of pasta and pudding. Being at camp sure is “pudding” smiles on our faces! Then we did some “speed friending” where we went around in a circle. Everyone got a chance to talk to everyone and start getting to know each other on a deeper level.

We gathered down at the campfire pit on the field. We sang camp-classic songs like “Radical God,” “Days of Elijah,” and “Dance with Me.” Then we roasted some s’mores together over the fire. We then did devotions (or devos for short) and went to bed. We’ll be ready to have s’more fun throughout our week here at Ox Lake!
