New Roof, New Post

As we all know, when it rains, it pours! Especially in the Boundary Waters. More often than not we are scrambling to make sure our clean and dry tents don’t suddenly get an extra coat of rain water while they wait for another group to arrive to take them back on trail. However, now we have nothing to fear. For our recently built drying rack, located directly above our beloved trail shack, has a new roof! Equipped with all of the shelter needs, this new structure can safety guard our tents, portage packs, and tarps from the elements. We have all been resting a little better knowing that our guides don’t have to hit the ground running as soon as the clouds turn dark. Thanks to our incredible maintenance team, this newly renovated space will keep hold of our treasured trail necessities and ease our fears when the weather comes around the corner to surprise us.
