Our summer camp season has begun! We spent the first two weeks in training with an outstanding group of young adults who have wholeheartedly and enthusiastically accepted the call to work at camp this summer. We are prepared to welcome over 2200 campers to Wapo and Ox and 102 canoe trips to Wilderness Canoe Base. God is so good!
Our 2022 theme is Take Hold and is inspired by John 16:33 “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart! I have conquered the world.”
Based in God’s promise of peace as an anchor in an uncertain and troubling world, campers will explore Jesus’ assurance that he has “conquered” the world and what that means as we explore and grow and follow Jesus, and TAKE HOLD of this promise.
At the end of each Bible study this summer, we share this blessing with campers…
Grounded in grace, may you care for this world.
Rooted in love, may your heart get bigger and braver.
Growing in faith, may you trust God’s promises.
And blessed by all these gifts may you feed the hungry, bind up the brokenhearted, and bring joy to everyone you meet.
Thank you for the support you’ve showered on this ministry. We lean heavily into your prayers to inspire our mission, “Places of Grace Forming People of Faith.” We are relying on your continued support this year and I invite you to consider a gift today. Your gift makes an immediate impact on the faith lives of thousands of kids each summer. Thanks for helping us share and celebrate the good news of Jesus!
Gratefully,
