May 2025 Work Week

Site: Wilderness Canoe Base
Ages: 18+ (16+ welcome with a parent)
Date: May 9-18 (Come as you are able)
Cost: $10 per day + $5 Registration

Come help us get Wilderness Canoe Base ready for a summer full of action!

We have set aside these 10 days to put together groups of people to work on specific projects. Come for a day, the weekend or the whole 10 days – you get to decide! We will be working on a variety of projects to improve Wilderness Canoe Base and prepare for summer.  This is great time to experience the northwoods while preparing the site for campers and staff. We promise to build in some fun and to feed you delicious meals!

To help with food and lodging costs there is a small daily fee and registration fee. THANK YOU!

* This is the time of year we wait for the ice to go out on Seagull Lake. If for some reason crossing to the islands is deemed unsafe, we will reach out to people who have registered. There is a chance a few days could be cancelled or plans would be adjusted.
