Experience the beauty and tranquility of the Boundary Waters while connecting with other adventurous women in a serene and inspiring environment. This group of women explores, creates, and socializes together, and spends significant time enjoying the company of one another throughout the weekend. Whether you have been to Wilderness Canoe Base many times or never at all, this is a great opportunity to join an incredible community of wilderness women!

Retreat Highlights:

  • Dark Sky Exploration: Learn about our International Dark Sky Sanctuary designation through enlightening guest speakers and educational sessions. Discover the wonders of the night sky, free from light pollution, and immerse yourself in stargazing activities.
  • Community and Connection: Spend the weekend exploring, creating, and socializing with a community of wilderness women. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a first-time visitor, you’ll find a welcoming and supportive group ready to share in this unique adventure.
  • Worship opportunities: First Word in the beautiful outdoor chapel. Last Word at the evening meal. Vespers service Friday and/or Saturday. Closing Worship on Sunday Morning.

This retreat offers a unique opportunity to deepen your connection with nature, God, and each other under the breathtaking canopy of stars. The retreat is structured in such a way that you can choose your own path; participate where you want. Wilderness Canoe Base provides a perfect setting for reflection, adventure, and camaraderie.
