Hanging Out at Ox

Our final two days at Ox Lake were filled with joy and faith. After breakfast and chapel, we did our Thursday bible study themed “Give Thanks Always.” The story was that of Elijah and the widow. This led to some great discussion about trust and thankfulness.

On Friday morning our bible study theme was “With You Always.” We read The Great Commission and talked about how we can go out into the world as Jesus’ disciples and be assured God is with us always! We said grace and then had some delicious brunch. We’ve prayed so many fun graces throughout the week! Then, we had some nostalgic time of reminiscing before it was time for closing worship.

It was such an awesome week at Ox! It’s so bittersweet to part with the people and this place at the end of it all. Our last two days of faith and fun are surely memories we will carry with us from this amazing place!
