Good Afternoon!

It is has been a beautiful day here at camp! So far we have had some tasty french toast along with some omelets. After breakfast, we made our way to chapel where we worshiped in a bunch of different ways.

In bible study today, we focus on Matthew 2:1-12. Our theme word for today is resist. We learn that we are called to follow God’s command and lead which doesn’t always match the ways of this world. We are called to love always.

In field games today, we played a Camp Wapo original game called Wapo Quaffle. It is a three component game, where ultimate frisbee, and the classic harry potter game: Quiddich.  Dodgeball (bludgers for our harry potter fans) and a snitch running around waiting to be caught are all happening at once.

After lunch, we headed into quiet time where we rested up for free time. Today we had all sorts of options like our 9-square tournament, painting at the art shop along with swimming! it was a bit too windy to run boats but we found plenty of other things to do! Now we’re off to dinner.
