It’s Monday and our first full day at camp!

Here at camp, every cabin gets to do end and start their day with last word and first word. We do this so that the last thing that is heard is God’s word and the first things that we hear is God’s word. After that we made our way to the art shop so that we could say grace and eat the most important meal of the day… breakfast. Today for breakfast we had omeletts and blueberry bake which is a mix between pancakes and muffins. Once we finished eating, we headed back to our cabins to tidy up a bit. Following cleaning up we made our way to Crossfire Chapel to worship all together. During Chapel We learned what our theme for the day is Breathe Out Doubt. Right after Chapel we opened our Bibles for bible study win with we learned about Thomas and him doubting Jesus.

The next thing in our day is field games where we played a camp classic Mighty Mighty Scoop Noodle Challenge. During field games our Roots campers had the opportunity to do some leather making. Here at camp we always end our games praying all together and once we finished that we headed to lunch for some mac & cheese and pulled pork sandwiches. We then had some quiet time before we made our way to the beach where each camper has the option to take the swim test.

We just lucked out with the weather as the last cabin was finishing up we needed to head inside for free time.
