Good morning on this chilly August day!

 

We started our day with first word. Our first word begins with a reading from the Bible and then we perform a song as a group. We then head into breakfast where we had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Following this, we moved into cabin clean-up. Cabins will be competing for the cleanest cabin award this week. When a cabin wins cleanest cabin, they receive an award and get to carry around the golden plunger for all to see. Chapel was the next activity that we transitioned into. In Crossfire Chapel, we worship and praise God through song and dance. Next on our schedule is Bible Study. Todays theme word of the day is Remember.  We focus on the Bible reading from Isaiah 40:25-31.  It is an important theme word for campers as it discusses how God has remembered each of us and called us each by name. Always remembering to have hope in God will give us strength and hope in our toughest days. The Easter campers went into their own morning session until lunch. All other campers headed to field games to play Mighty Mighty. Now we are off to a lunch of chicken wraps and tater tots.
