Let the week begin!

We are so excited for this week of camp. It might have started with very hot and humid weather, but that won’t stop us from having a great week. The very first thing we did was get to know everyone in our cabins. We then headed to the GC’s (Gospel Cruisers) for some announcements as well as grace so we can enjoys some delicious food. We had a wonderful surprise for dinner with a choice of circle pizza, dino nuggets and mini corndogs. Don’t worry, we also had some veggies with dinner.

Once we finished up dinner it was time to open our Bibles for Bible Study. Today we learned about our theme for the summer…Breathe, we also learned about our daily theme…Breathe in Peace.

Since it’s the very first day of camp we need to know the rules, or as we like to call them, Traditions. We also met some very important people during that time. Having to listen to people talk about traditions can be boring, so why not follow that up with some canteen time and cabin time?!

Each night we will gather together to worship at campfire where we sing songs and spend time together as a full camp. Once we finished up it was then time for night meds and devotionals. Devotionals, also known as devos, allow us to reflect and worship God at the end of each night.

Now lets get some rest as we have a very fun filled week ahead of us!
