We have CAMPERS!

We have welcomed campers from St. Andrews in Mahtomedi to camp this week to learn more about God in confirmation.

We started our morning with check-in at St. Andrews, then proceeded to pill into busses and make our  way to camp by 10:30am. It might have been raining but that didn’t stop our joy! Once we got all of our spaces settled we joined back together for orientation and opening worship. We followed that up with a delicious lunch of pulled pork and mac & cheese which fueled our bodies for the swim test.

That water was CHILLY! Once we warmed up, we had our opportunity time where some of us played 9-square and others played Gaga Ball but we all had a great time. It was then time to study the bible. Once we finished our bible study we then enjoyed some amazing orange chicken.

We typically like to play games outside after dinner but we had some rain derail our plans. We played an all camp game called Human Pictionary where campers race to find a counselor and then draw the word for their cabin to guess. The sky cleared up with just enough time for us to play our fun noodle game.

To end our first night at camp we will worship all together during campfire and enjoy some super cool devos with our cabins. Goodnight!!
