Waves of Mercy, Waves of Grace

What a Wednesday! We started our morning out with some french toast to energize us for chapel. There we sang some awesome worship songs like “Every Move I Make (Waves of Mercy, Waves of Grace)” and “What If I Stumble.”

Today’s bible study theme was “Forgive Always.” We read the story of how Joseph forgave his brothers. We talked about even though sometimes forgiveness is hard, it is always the right option!

For field games today we played Gladiator, which is similar to Exploding Enchiladas from yesterday except with a partner. We also played a fun game called Snoodles which is a four team game played with short pool noodles and flags.

After lunch we had free time! Campers enjoyed making waves at the waterfront, crafting at the art shop, playing in the nine square tournament, going to the jam session in the chapel, and so much more!

Following dinner, we all headed down to the waterfront for beach bash. There were activities like face painting, swimming, and yard games as well as challenges like tug of war, a sandcastle competition, and a belly flop competition. 

We ended the night with a little canteen and cabin time. Then, we got to have a beautiful night of worship down at the campfire. We sang songs like “Radical God” and “Dance With Me.”

After campfire, our Vines and Branches cabins got to play a Shrek-themed night game around camp! All cabins ended their days with devos and are now tucked in for a good night of rest. We’ll be ready for our last full day of camp tomorrow!
