What a day we have had!

We started off our morning with some yummy breakfast sandwiches and triangle hashbrowns!

Chapel was full of singing, dancing, laughter and praising The Lord! Our theme for today was Give Thanks Always, We dove into Elijah and the Widow from 1st Kings. We looked at nature and reminded ourselves how God made everything, from the sounds of the trees moving, to the sounds of other people’s voices.

Field games, our older campers got to play bubble soccer and the rest of our campers had a blast playing Big base and Octopus tag!

Lunch and quiet time flew by and we were all so excited for free time! During free time, we tie dyed all sorts of clothing form shirts, to scrunchies we got colorful! Second half of free time we enjoyed some swimming, 9-square, and the basketball tournament! Huge congrats to Anderson Hall 105/106 for being the champs.

Every summer, Thursday night is Banquet. Campers and staff alike dressed to the 9’s for a scrumptious plated dinner inside a western themed dining hall. After banquet, we transitioned into Wapo County Fair where campers could wander throughout camp visiting a variety of different stations like karaoke, line dancing, face paint and so much more!

We ended our night with Light worshiped where we saw a show of shadows about Jesus life interwoven with the seven days of creation. Now we are off to night meds and our nightly devotionals.

See you all tomorrow
