Our Tuesday started with a reading of our bible verse of the day which is Genesis 1:14-19. At breakfast we ate some yummy egg bake. Thanks Liz! In chapel we had some good laughs and smiles while singing Christmas songs . We watched a silly skit that talked about Genesis, which was what led us into our bible study. In bible study we talked and learned about how god made day and night. We learned we are stardust which connects us to everything which is allowing us to learn to grow in community with each other at camp.

We played exploding enchiladas during field games today. This is a well loved dodgeball game at camp where we yell “EXPLODING ENCHILADAS.” Unlike field games we didn’t have enchiladas for lunch but instead we had pulled pork sandwiches, mac and cheese and coleslaw. After lunch the campers had free time; since it was super hot today a lot of kids were swimming at the beach while others made bracelets, played in our Gaga tournament, got snacks at the canteen, and some even learned to play some new instruments. After free time we had tacos for dinner. Yum! We played another game after dinner called Chip Noodle, which of course, is another camp favorite. The kids got canteen time tonight and are now at campfire letting the lord set a fire in our souls.
