What a crazy evening we had on this final Saturday of SEEDS!

Once we all got some must deserved rest time in our cabins, we all gathered together to enjoy a scrumptious dinner — chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. Before we made our way down to our specialty worship, we had some time to play Gaga, 9-Square and even played some catch on Commons Field. Once it was officially time for specialty worship, we all went down to Lindsay Beach.

This year’s “Walk & Wonder” specialty worship involved the full camp roaming from place to place around our grounds. There, they found actors ready to perform a scene from the Bible, and a related activity ready to go. As always, the SEEDS specialty worship highlighted two major themes:

  1. The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus
  2. And this summer’s theme — “Always”.

Following Walk & Wonder, the rain and thunder gave us a great opportunity for some indoors fun. “Ultimate Pictionary” (a crossover between Hide and Seek and Pictionary), as well as indoor Campfire Worship, were the highlights of our evening. Even though our Saturday had a stormier end than we were planning, God’s love shone brightly amidst the thunder and rain.
