After what has seemed like ages, the camp staff at Wapo and Ox (or at least some of us) arrived this past Thursday with wide smiles, and eager hearts ready to serve the camp community this summer. Servant Staff, First Aid and lifeguards have been hard at work prepping and training for the summer ahead as well as for the other counselors to arrive. In the time we have spent here, two caterpillars have willingly been eaten, a game of trashketball has transpired, and a visit to our sister camp Ox Lake (Ox Rox) has taken place. Above all, there has been an incredible amount of bonding and reconnecting with one another which has been especially impactful after a year apart. It has been so fun seeing old faces and learning new ones.

As the weeks continue we look forward to taking you on this summer’s journey. From counselor arrivals and training, to the last day with campers, we are excited to see what is in store this summer. We can’t wait to connect, grow and Just Love!
