We have woken up to some sunshine and ready for our fun filled day!

Today in bible study we are reading Esther 4 14-16. to truly understand this verse we dig deep into the entire story of esther. One thing that we note is that this story is truly fiction. Hardly anyone argues that the story of esther is historically true. Still, it’s message is sparkling with truth. It was meant to make the Jews proud of their resilience, meant to inspire a sense of patriotism. We share with our campers that when you read the book of Esther, you have to look for God with optimistic eyes. Kind of like real life. You have to trust that God is working behind the scenes and more importantly through the quiet faithfulness for those who believe and trust that God is there.

After bible study we played snoodles and four corner medic before headed off to lunch!
