Having a “Hole” Lotta Fun

This morning we energized for chapel with some fabulous french toast! It’s ALWAYS great to start the day by singing songs of praise and getting moving with some actions! Then we moved into our cabin groups to do the daily bible study.

Today’s bible study theme was “Forgive Always” and follows the story of Joseph who forgave his brothers. We talked about how sometimes we don’t want to forgive others because of the hurt they have caused us, forgiveness is important. We should offer forgiveness like Joseph did for his brothers and Jesus does for us!

We got a little messy again at field games today! We played Rat-A-Tat-Tat and Medic. Because of the rain yesterday, sitting down when you get out is sure to give you a muddy butt! Regardless, there were all smiles on the field!

At free time we had lots of fun at our waterfront! The lake was calm and we were able to send some campers out on paddle boards and kayaks! Our six Roots aged campers also got some time on watercrafts as they took a canoe trip down the St. Croix. Canoe believe how much fun we’re all having?!

Some campers at the beach dove right in the water. But we also had a ton of campers stay on the sand and work together to dig a giant hole! After supper, we filled it with water and made use of it for our beach bash. Whoever loses at tug-of-war falls in!

Beach bash also featured a ton of other fun activities like face paint, rock paper scissors splash, and spike ball. We also had a sandcastle competition and a belly flop competition! Winners got to pick a counselor to pie in the face!

To wrap up the day we had some canteen time and campfire. Our older age groups are now playing a night game around camp. Then it will be devos and lights out for all. What an eventful Wednesday! We’re definitely having a “hole” lotta fun at camp!
