God is in this Place

It is so clear that God is in this place! We had such a busy and fun filled day; it’s hard to know where to begin. This morning campers got to dive into Bible study where they learned all about rest. In the Creation Story, God creates the world and everything in it during the first six days and then takes time to rest on the seventh and final day. This is such an important theme for the campers to hold onto when they eventually journey home because of the fast moving world that they live in.

You all have heard of softball but have you ever heard of Norwegian softball?! Today during neighborhood fun a few cabins got to play Norwegian softball where you have to run the bases backwards and take the bat with you. It usually takes our seasoned baseball players a few hits to remember these funky rules but once they get it down, it’s a lot of fun! Some other activities to ask your camper about are: battle bots, Beach Bash, the basketball tournament, metal campfire, and the Wapo Olympics.
