Ease Into Camp With a Breeze

What a sunny and breezy day to start our fifth Seeds weekend! With the sun blessing us, campers and counselors were able to bask in the glory of God’s creation during Bible study. Campers were able to TAKE HOLD of the promise that God gives each of them in today’s Bible verse (also our theme!) John 16:33. Following Bible study, we devoured chicken tenders for dinner and campers watched their counselors in skits where they performed as buss drivers, life guards, movie directors, cowboys, and bean chefs. Not only did we traverse the Bible, we journeyed across the vast ocean of Commons Field, playing Ships Across the Ocean. And if fish and sharks weren’t already exciting, we finished off the night with campfire and S’MORES. We look forward to s’more fun tomorrow!
