An Evening Fit For a Picnic

What a perfect evening for a picnic! As the sun sets over the lake, we got to enjoy an outdoor picnic (fit with checkered tablecloths). The music, games and laughter made it the perfect way to slow down into the evening. Golden hour seems to shine even brighter when surrounded by campers (thanks God!). After a stop at the canteen for dessert, it is off to light worship where we will learn the story of Jesus through shadow story telling. Then, we will finish the night with our foot washing devotion. This devotion is a camp staple and teaches campers about why Jesus washed his disciples feet. Very cool!
