What a beautiful evening we had here at Camp Wapo!

After getting rested up after our morning and afternoon activities, we had some incredible chicken tenders and mashed potatoes. We then enjoyed some cabin time before heading down to Lindsay Beach for Walk-&-Wonder — also known as our specialty worship. During Walk-&-Wonder, we watched dramatized scenes related to our Bible studies for this weekend. After we watched a scene there was always a hands-on activity to reinforce the message. Some of those activities included tying a purple string on our wrists, writing notes to senior livings facilities here in Amery, making a paper prayer chain, making a popsickle stick cross, and also learning The Lord’s Prayer. To wrap up our Walk-&-Wonder we had a dance party!

Following our dance party, we played an all-camp game of Counselor Hunt. Our SEEDS campers hunted the campgrounds looking for hiding counselors to earn their signatures. The cabins with the most signatures (Little Lodge & Salem) got to choose a Wapo staff member to douse with two pitchers of water!

Next, everyone got ready to go to Campfire to worship the Lord. Once campfire finished up, we went with our counselors for our nightly devotional activity. Now its time to get some shut eye!
