Howdy y’all!

Campers enjoyed a hot, but exciting free time this afternoon. It was jam packed with activities such as tie dye and the basketball tournament. Each cabin moved into quiet time and were allowed to prepare for banquet dinner. Our banquet dinner theme for the year is red carpet. There are many fun decorations and campers are encouraged to dress up for the meal. Each cabin takes a picture as a group in their outfits. After banquet, we were finally able to discover who the undercover camp mole was. We narrowed it down to five counselors and revealed who it was in front of all the campers. Next, we transitioned into the Wapo county fair. In this time, campers are able to attend varying stations across camp. These stations include nail painting, face painting, shaving cream, hair tinsel, hair braiding, hydration station, caricatures and many more. Canteen was also an option during this time. Wapo county fair was concluded by an all star basketball game between the counselors and campers who won the basketball tournament earlier in the day. We ended our day with our final campfire together. This campfire has a different look than the others because it is our specialty worship. There are prayer stations set up around the campfire area. The sprouts group moves into commons field to complete their stations. Some of the stations are take a prayer leave a prayer, forgiveness of sins and the god made me mirror. Cabins also made prayer chains throughout the week, and we put those into the fire to represent Jesus forgiving our sins. We ended with a few songs and cabins headed to their final devotions of the week. Now it’s time to get some rest. See you all soon.
