We got to catch lots of Z’s last night which meant we had an amazing late start to our morning. Most cabins were woken up at 9:30, Woohoo! Our kitchen provided us with a big nutritious brunch with of breakfast sandwiches, hashbrowns, granola and yogurt and fruit. We then moved into chapel and bible study where we learned about embracing different and unique ways to shine and embrace our diversity and how we can help others’ lights shine brighter.

We played snoodles and VIP today during field games, most kids played and the ones who didn’t learned how to play the ukulele and make friendship bracelets. We have a shorter amount of free time on Thursdays because we’re getting ready for tonight’s banquet! Banquet is a special night at Wapo where all the campers and counselors get to dress nice and be served a fancy camp meal. We are doing a new event after the banquet called the Wapo County Fair.

We then have canteen time along with a Wapo all star basketball game. Winners from the free time tournament get to play a basketball game against a counselor team. The last event of the day was a specialty campfire. This summer we are setting up different prayer stations that can help center kids closer to God and hopefully help them feel more confident about their faith.
