Our speaker for this Sunday is Pastor Connie Tiede.

Greetings! I am Pastor Connie Tiede and I currently serve as Pastor for Welcome, Worship and Mission at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka.  I look forward to spending a Sunday at Camp Wapo, a place that has been very important to my family.  My mother and aunt remember going to Camp Wapo when they were younger, I have spent many a week there with my church youth and my children attended camp and worked at Camp Wapo.

I am married to Mark, who is also a pastor at St. John’s Lutheran in S. Minneapolis.  Together we have 3 children and 2 fur babies!  Our two oldest are twins, Lucas and Linnea and they are both getting married this year – so lots of excitement in our house.  Our youngest, Carolynn will be a senior at St. Olaf in the fall.  When not doing wedding planning or working I enjoy walking my dogs – Rosie and Winston, gardening, playing games with family and friends and traveling (though haven’t done a lot of that recently!!)

Like you, I’m looking forward to venturing out more this summer and especially spending time in God’s beautiful creation!

We are committed to the safety of our campers, guests, volunteers and staff.  When Boat-in worship is indoors or outdoors, it is not necessary for fully vaccinated individuals to wear a mask.  We encourage all unvaccinated individuals to continue to wear masks for the protection of kids under 12 and those who are unable to be vaccinated.
