DESCRIPTION:Our speaker for this Sunday is Pastor Ron Mathews. \nPastor Ron Mathews was ordained in the ELCA twelve years ago and is currently serving at First Lutheran Church (Barron\, WI). He is an alumna of Luther College (Decorah\, IA)\, and went on to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Lutheran Seminary (Columbus\, OH).  While in college Ron worked spent four summers working for Crossways Camping Ministries – Imago Dei Village (Clintonville\, WI) as a camp counselor and program staff.  While working at camp he met his wife\, Amity. They have four children – Ella\, Avery\, Rankin\, and Riordan.  As a family they find as many opportunities to enjoy outdoors and camp life as possible every summer. \n“The Old Life and the New Life”.  Ephesians 4:17-5:2 \nCome by boat or come by car – You are invited for worship at 9:20am!  Coffee\, treats and water are served.  You can bring your own chair or benches are provided. \nWe are committed to the safety of our campers\, guests\, volunteers and staff.  When Boat-in worship is indoors or outdoors\, it is not necessary for fully vaccinated individuals to wear a mask.  We encourage all unvaccinated individuals to continue to wear masks for the protection of kids under 12 and those who are unable to be vaccinated.

I graduated from Concordia College in 2008. I worked at Wapo from 2006-2008 and have been bringing campers to Wapo for 12 years. My husband Nate and I live in Maple Grove with our two kids\, Blake (4.5) and Sophie (20 months).
