We had a great day here and cant wait for more! The sun shined bright and early here so we could eat an amazing breakfast outside. In chapel we made some new friends by singing shake another hand and trading our sorrows. All the kids had smiling faces and were super excited to worship the lord with their cabin. We watched a silly skit that talked about Genesis, which was what led us into our bible study. In bible study we talked and learned about how god made day and night. We learned we are stardust which connects us to everything which is allowing us to learn to grow in community with each other at camp.

Field game time was very sweaty but we got to play some fun dodgeball games which were medic and rat-a-tat-tat. once the bell rang for lunch we had all the kiddos drink at least 3 sips of water. Since it was a hot day outside a lot of the campers made their way to the beach during free time. We were super excited to have the kiddos on our ufo! They all loved it! We had some kids go to the art shop to paint some rocks and others participated in the gaga tournament.

We got our dinner which was tacos because its taco Tuesday! Since today was so warm we wanted campers to have extra time in the water. Beach bash is something we like to do for our campers where they can participate in silly challenges to see if they can win a pie; which they can use to pie their counselor later. Tonight we had 2 campfires, the first one was for sprouts and the second was for vines and branches. We really like split campfire because it bring the cabins together to be more connected.
